What you can expect during your ARPwave Training Session:
Your first 60 minute session includes muscle testing to determine if your muscles are turning on and turning off at the right time. Your muscles absorb force coming into your body thus supporting and protecting all of your joints.
This In-Balance Assessment prepares the body for strengthening & is the first step on the road to recovery. The body must be in bio-mechanical balance and able to stabilize and process information through the neurological system.
Electrical impulses in your muscles should be firing in the proper sequence to stabilize you. If your body is not in bio-mechanical balance, then we administer a series of exercise movements to restore your balance and quickly get you progressing toward your strength goals and/or return to your sport.
Follow-up sessions last between 30-60 minutes depending on your strengthening needs. Strengthening to recover from an injury typically requires 8-12 sessions depending on the severity of the injury. Occasionally, additional sessions are required.
These sessions push your body to the max. This is not therapy. It is the correct hard work your body needs to recover/heal at the fastest rate possible.
At your last session, you will learn therapeutic exercises to perform on your own. Many athletes opt to continue training with Russell for improved athletic performance.

Jay Pandolfo- Professional Hockey Player, NJ Devils, 2-Time Stanley Cup Champion, Ironman streak of 283 consecutive games played, 2006-07 Frank J. Selke Trophy finalist for Best Defensive Forward in the NHL.
Jay suffered a severe groin/low back injury on 11-28-2007 which can take 18 to 24 months to heal. After 7 weeks of traditional medical treatment, Jay’s progress had stopped. ‘Pando’ was referred to us. We consulted with Denis Thompson and Jay Schroeder at ARPwave headquarters in Minnesota and came up with a game plan.
Within 7 days of his 1st ARPwave Strength session, he was skating full speed. 11 days later Jay Pandolfo was back playing full time for the Devils and did not miss another game for the rest of the NHL regular season and Stanley Cup Playoffs.
‘Thanks to Russell Jones and the ARPwave Strength Training program. I was able to get back on the ice FAST and stayed strong with the UltraFit Training. All athletes should seriously consider what ARPwaveNJ has to offer.’- Jay Pandolfo

Pound for pound one of the strongest and most explosive athletes to come out of Pennsylvania
'Hey Russell… Awesome! 100%, I felt great. It was kind of scary how good I felt. I got a lot of comments on my speed...
I know from previous hamstring injuries it would have taken me 3 times longer to recover and feel the way I did after the ARPwave Strength sessions! I am also amazed on how good I feel today. I feel like I could play in a couple double header football games. Thanks again, for taking care of me on such a late notice.'

Jill Lipari, age 20, Mt Olive, NJ, Hofstra University Soccer Player
Jill was referred to us by her orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Michael Deehan, Skylands Orthopaedic Group, Hackettstown, NJ. She had been suffering with a right Hamstring tear for about 8 months which was not healing.
We immediately started Jill on the ARPwave Strength program & she was able to run at 100% after 10 days.
‘ Today I decided to kick around a soccer ball with my mom. I planned to casually take shots, cross, and pass. Having not done any of these movements without pain in about 8 months I was slightly apprehensive. after some light passing and gentle shots I built my confidence enough to fire shots from beyond the 18 yard line and take crosses on the run. I experienced no pain at all and in fact was very pleased with my performance. Since I have not felt that sense of confidence with my sport since the beginning of my injury, I immediately called Russell and informed him of my success. I'm very excited and enthusiastic to continue the program.’ - Jill

Robert Cohn, Golfer, NYC
'I am 56 years old, an avid golfer carrying a 3.5 handicap index and an exercise enthusiast. Over the years I have had numerous physical ailments, including back pain, torn rotator cuff, plantar fascitis, foot pain, and biceps tendonitis. In the past I have been able to rehabilitate these injuries using exercise and treatments by doctors and chiropractors. As I have gotten older, the exercise seemed to solve one problem but create another. Most recently, I found that I was having constant pain in my right hip and leg which prevented me from driving in a car for more than 20 minutes at a time without significant pain and also kept me from walking 18 holes. For the last six months, I would feel fine after a treatment by the doctors, but after exercise, driving or walking 9 holes the pain would return.
While watching the Golf Channel, I saw a Fitness program utilizing the ARPwave Strength system. After doing research on the internet, I located Russell Jones. After my first visit, I was able to drive for one hour without significant pain and it has continued to improve. I am now walking 18 holes without problems. In fact, I just recently walked 18 holes three days in a row without any pain. My handicap which had gone up one or two strokes has returned to where it was last summer before the pain began. Following these strength sessions, my wife (who also trained with Russell) and I won the Cross County Husband and Wife tournament, a tournament we had last won ten years ago.'

Jeff Crane, Captain- 1997, Wake Forest University
'Prior to making the jump to college soccer at Wake Forest University, Russ prepared a strength training and nutrition plan for me. Russ really prepared me for the physical demands of Division I soccer and that was an important reason for my success. College soccer is much more physical than high school. Most of the other players had not set foot in a weight room prior to college so my strength was a big advantage and helped me to earn a starting position and eventually become the captain of the team.
I gained at least 10 pounds of muscle mass during my training with Russ. As a defender, I was able to use my strength to win the physical challenges and headballs against much larger opponents. Aside from the strength training, I consider the nutrition lessons extremely valuable. I was able to use food as a means to sustain energy and speed up recovery after long training efforts and games.'
